If you let gatorade sit for awhile, like six months or so, yeah can it or will it turn into wine? If it makes any difference it's the lemon-lime flavor.

No. It won't ever be wine. It is basically sugar and flavouring, wine is fermented grapes. There are no grapes in gatorade.

You might be able to ferment it, as it has a large amount of sugar. But you would need to supply a source of yeast. Alcohol is a by product of the microgansims consuming the sugar.

I think if you let your gatorade sit for a while, you'll just be left with 6 month old gaterade.

Nope...it's got preservatives in it. Yeast (wild or commercial) is required to ferment a sugar containing solution into alcohol. The preservatives in gatorade will kill yeast. Worse, there are some more hardy bacteria and fungi out there that will take up residence and just make it rot instead.

Toss the gatorade.

I think there's too much junk in it for it to ferment.
