Only if the belief in Jesus Christ as God and Holy Redeemer is irrational.

Yes, he does.
As you know, most things that come from the Pope is irrational. At his age, it is natural he is getting even more irrational each passing day. But the Catholics seem OK with this. The world doesn't care if he is irrational or not, except the Muslims. If you break wind, the Muslims go on a killing spree. His remarks about the Muslims was true. The problem, he showed weakness when he decided to kiss their rears. Of course, that was an irrational decision.

Sure, why not? Despite popular belief the pope is not infallable. He is said to be but is only infallible when he, in union with the body of bishops, solemnly teaches that a doctrine is true. He'll let you know when. When he speaks his words can be wrong and he can apologize for them. Like he did when he recently quoted a Byzantine Emporer about Islam.

the whole idea of a pope is irrational. It's blasphemy for a person to say their are infallable.

No.

Irrational means not endowed with reason.

All Catholic beliefs have a basis in faith AND reason.

How could anything unreasonable withstand 2,000 years of intelligent inquiry?

Some people may disagree with our beliefs but that does not make them irrational.

With love in Christ.

The bible says that there is only one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. The pope is obsolete.
