i've been trying to stick to a diet (either the Atkins, or stillman's diet or and fruit and veggie diet only) which one would make me lose weight faster? i know these both are not very healthy and that they are missing lots of nutrients and that i should do it the old fashion way by eating right and exercising, but i was just thinking about it. i can't get it outta my head, i would perfer the veggie and fruit diet, but which one works faster?? Which one would help me lose "close" to 15 pounds in one month?

You can do it witrh veggie fruits and even brown rice as well. Make sure to excercise as well. Limit the fruits as many are LOADED with sugar........

WIsh I was of more help to you - but I KNOW Atkins only works sometimes and it is NOT worth the exhaustion and horrible led brick feeling in your gut. You may lose 15 but you will be too grumpy and exhusted to enjoy it. Plus - Lack of carbs robs your bodies energy supply. So just try the fruit and veggie with some good carbs/fats like raw almonds, seeds and brown rice. This way - you are eating healthy AND able to excercise................ On atkins' you will only lose fat AND muscle together.

Good Luck my friend

I feel 15 pounds a month is rather drastic. Go slow and steady. Atkins is known to be faser for weight loss in the beginning but I would suggest that you stick to veggie and fruits. Better from antioxidants point of view.

What kind of protein do you eat with a fruit and veggie diet? You may lose weight on that diet but you won't be very healthy and what good is losing weight if you are not healthy?

None of the diets you listed are healthy or long term. I whole heartily suggest that you invest in L A Weightloss. Not only do you lose the weight but you maintain it while you stick to the plan. As with any long term diet when you go off plan you will gain back weight. That is why it is imperative to always stick to plan. yes occasionally give in to an indulgence but stick to what is important. Your weight and your shape.

Hate to say it, but diet and exercise is your best bet. Do it only for your heatlh. Is losing 15 pounds in one month worth risking your health? But if you NEED to pick one, I would say the fruit and veggie diet since in would contain the least amount of calories.
