I have 11 dogs (most are saved) they range from a hairless chihuahua to the most exotic mix of who-knows-what and somehow out of all the sweet dogs in the world, MY DOGs are, clearly, the bestest! They have good sugar, too. Somebody let me know what wonderful thing did I do? Or is it luck? I tend to think it's divine. I'm not saying yours aren't great it's just that mine are ...well...better. (smile)

Maybe the fact that you have trained them correctly and have shown them that you are the dominant one in the family may have lead to having awesome dogs. If you are consistent with training and everything you do, it is beneficial to them. You are lucky too! Keep up the great work, it is nice to hear of success stories like yours.
But...When I get a dog in a few months (current apartment doesn't allow pets), your dogs will have some competition!

Dogs, cats and other pets are like "children" to many people - especially adults who do not have children. Most parents think their child, even if he/she is a living demon, is the "best kid in the world" - at least for a while. Correspondingly, most pet owners think their pets can do no harm.
If you are a good owner, you may indeed have gorgeous dogs that are the envy of some. But it's people who think their destructive, yapping, biting, territorial, snarling, clawing, pets are still "great" that have issues. These owners give other caring pet owners a bad reputation. So as long as you are aware of each dog's issues, give them lots of room to play in (because 11 dogs is a LOT) and care for them properly (not just food and toys, but vet visits and proper medicines, and obedience training) then I applaud your efforts for you truly do have 11 great dogs.
Of course, my 2 dogs are still angels in my eyes - even when they are running through the house play-fighting as they are now. :-)

honestly i think that you have become close to your animals. thats why you think they are cutest cause you really like it and they have become an important member of your life
