K here goes. there is this girl i have been friends with for a little while that im really starting to like. unfortunately, she is already in a relationship. however the guy she is with treats her like crap, is super controlling and has basically flips out if she has any friends. I want to take her away from that because she deserves better. my question is how can i accomplish this? i realize its stealing someones girlfriend and all but come on. i would treat her a million times better than he has. what should i do? advice would be greatly appreciated.

The question becomes, what do you have that appeals to her that he does not? And what does he have, that you do not? And which does she want more?

I would personally run in the opposite direction.
Your dealing with a couple of issues but the three that stick out are this..
1) You can't "steal" her away from this guy. She has to leave of her own accord. Let her make the decision. Let her realize that she's in a bad relationship. Besides even if she got out of this relationship, would it really be fair to her from an emotional standpoint to jump back into something with you? Which leads to number
2) If she's staying with this guy who treats her like crap, what is that really saying about her? I'm not trying to jump to conclusions about the type of girl she is but "if" she has some sort of emotional issues/baggage that causes her to stick it out with this guy, you might want to think twice about getting involved. Notice I said "if". Don't be selfish. Maybe the best thing you can do for her is to remain her friend as she sorts things out which leads me to point number
3) How do you know she feels the same way about you and how do you know that on some level, she's not happy where she is?
I'm not trying to tell you what to do, I'm just trying to give you some food for thought.

why only guys???let me tell u something i was in a relationship like that 4 two yrs & i know that u cant just take her away if she really loves that guy. she has to be the one to realize that she deserves better. you can try to speed up the process by telling her what a looser he is but shes the one that has to see & accept because maybe she doesnt care & she wants to put up w/ his crap.good luck.

Some girls like being in a relationship where they are controlled... sometimes it's hard for people outside of that relationship to really understand that.

ok heres what u do/ ....
whenever u see her tell her she looks goood.that will make her feel good about u!then later on tell her u need 2 tell her something,but u cant tell her right now,that will be on her head all day thinking what u wanna tell her it will drive her crazy!!
if u got like a cd player or something like a sweater tell her to hold it real quick and never get it back/////u will be on her mind all day!
like if u go 2 her house leave something behind that will remeber her of u! a sweater with a lot of cologne will do good!always smile!.....take it from a player.

She likes getting treated like crap. Sorry, but that's the truth. She's reinforcing her own low self esteem by being with him. You're like her gay best friend. Don't be a white knight. Sorry, but it just gets really messy. BE there for support. If she wants you, you'll be right there.

You need to become friends with her boyfriend to get into the circle of trust. Once you are in the circle of trust you can work your way to her.
