Well, I'm married now, but the answer to that depends a LOT on the ground rules of the relationship. In some relationships, for example, one party will follow almost any halfway reasonable order. If so, there are more ways of answering your question that there is space to list them.
In a more equal relationship, a calm "I really don't think that was called for" can still be pretty powerful.

What the hell? Is that what your boyfriend does to you, he must not be playful or something. Is he like strict or cold? They don't WARN you? You are your own person, and you can dump them whenever.
