For 15 mins Sat Feb 17 and Sat Feb 18 (2 remaining days) count the birds you see and then go to the website or mail them in, if you'd prefer, to report your numbers. The website has a worksheet and a down-load to help. This takes only your time. Anyone and everyone can participate, alone or with others. Great activity to do with the kids and teach them about wildlife and conservation. If you enjoy birds, this is a chance for you to help scientist track the birds across North America. Happy Birding!

Have you heard of this? Would you be interested or did you participate? Do you know someone you can share this information with?

Yes I did. I also submitted to www.ebird.org which has a public database showing where birds are year round.

I had not heard of this count. I think that Audubon members here do a count on Christmas. There's a person from Audubon who counts birds in our neighborhood at feeders. I put out a quart of sunflower seeds every day or two depending on weather.
