Do you recommend it or another type in that price range? Thank you.

I use a DX 7630 but had a CX7430. I like the new one better (it's newer and the CX no longer works anyway) but actually liked the CX just as well. We got the CX wet. Kodaks are very susceptible to electronic problems due to moisture and it takes very little of it(doesn't require rain, only mist). Kodak does not warrant for problems due to moisture and they charge you 35 bucks just to tell you they won't cover it. You have to pay the 35 bucks even to get your broken camera back from them. We like the cameras but are uncomfortable with the backup.

Wow that's a really OLD camera, actually it's no longer available!!! It's from 2004!!

Anyways, since I have no idea about its price range, if you want a REALLY great camera, get the CASIO EXILIM S770 It absolutely ROCKS! Just got one!!!

Google that and you'll see!!
