It might seem that there are more British on Yahoo Answers, depending on the time of day you are visiting the website.
For instance, I am on the East Coast in USA. Great Britain is about 5 hours ahead of my time, so I could be online at a quiet time for Internet traffic in the USA, but because of the time difference, it could be an extremely heavy Internet time for someone in Great Britain.

One would think I was a Brit because I insist on spelling words correctly such as honour, colour, favour etc.... I say the loo instead of bathroom or toilet. No.....I have no idea why either.

How do you know they are Brits? Maybe they are just articulate and witty, know how to construct a sentence, and perhaps they also (egad!) even know how to spell.
Could that be possible?
Maybe they are only LIKE the Brits....
naaahhhhh. They must be Brits.

Their economy is in such good shape that their normal 32 hour workweek has been reduced to 18 hours and they have nothing better to do. I'm thinking of trying to move their but I'm afraid of their Muslims!

are you sure you have selected "all english questions" in the lower left side of the open Q&A page?
it is funny how "accents" show in word usage, phrases and spellings!
