The suspect jars were all canned in Georgia. They have not found any jars with salmonella yet, but because people have been getting sick since last September, and a majority of them ate peanut butter, they are recalling the product with the 2111 number. The only way to tell if you've been exposed to the salmonella is to have a stool sample tested. Most people just have a stomach ache, gas, headache and maybe a little nausea, but some people get very sick, with high fever, headache, diarrhea, vomiting and dehydration.

It's apparent the Food Companies and Drug Companies are in bed together and don't care about our well being. It's also apparent that they like to keep us in fear and perhaps that is why these things come up every so often. It sounds like you may be over the symptoms what ever they were., however perhaps you should consult your doctor if there's any chance of following consequences., but an Alternative Health Practioner would be better to see as they don't prescribe drugs. I haven't heard anything about this yet,...the problem with the peanut butter nor the symptoms or reactions etc. Depending on the seriousness of sickness you may want to consult a lawyer. Here are a couple sites for you to check, first one about Food Companies and Drug Companies offering a free book etc, the other one to answer your hearts desire.

The peanut butter that was contaminated was Peter Pan and the Walmart brand True Value, with the serial number starting 2111 printed on the lid. I heard that if you have a jar with those numbers on it you should send it back to the peanut butter company and they will reimburse you for the jar. As for suing them, I don't think you have a case. You could contact you local health authorities and see what they say.
