Why do girls always expect the guys to ask them out??? I wanna ask out this guy, and all my friends and everyone on this site keep telling me to wait for him to ask me out! Why should I??? I already know he likes me!!!! He is really shy, though!!! I think people who say that are stupid and probably never have any good relationships!!! Seriously, what is up with you guys?????

IF the guy is shy, then yes you should ask him out. Because it's the man to do the first move, and it's not up to the girls. And ALL your friends, and ALL these people can't be wrong. Besides, most guys LIKE being the one to ask the girls out. O, and yes I have had many great relationships and I have never not even once asked out a guy.

Some girls are old fashioned and like to wait. Others like to make the dude feel like a man you know and some girls just are to shy to be asked out first because they dont want there feelings right at that line you know. Me i'll ask the guy i like out cause i never like waiting and if you think he likes you then do what your heart says and go for it .

This is not the stone age. If you like this guy then ask him out. I do not understand why some women think that a guy has to control the relationship. I think one has as much right as the other. I know if I like a guy I feel I have just as much right to ask him out as he does to ask me out. I say go for it.

girl, dont listen to people! he might be so shy he will NEVER ask you out, so YOU ask HIM out!! sometimes that is what you have to do and there is nothing bad with a girl asking a guy out! i also think that guys like it when girls ask them out! it makes them feel special and wanted, even though they will never admit it. but some men are stuck on the idea that THEY have to ask the girl out and be all manly and tough, but then when it comes down to it, they are too scared to do it. isnt that ironic, big tough men being scared of women!

because it's just a thing from a long time ago that guys should be the ones asking girls out and doing the hard work and that if a girl asks a guy out or tells him she likes him, she like... loses her pride and dignity... say that girls should be treated like queens by the guys

honestly, i do like to be asked, but there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with asking a guy. Just ask, like you say, he's probably to shy to ask you... i just asked a guy to sadie's... and he said yes!!!! there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with asking a guy... don't listen to what anyone else says. You have to rely on your instincts, not what others tell you

okay...well...first of all, the guy always makes the first move. if you know this guy likes you just wait for him to ask you out. its hard when you ask someone out because you don't know if their gonna reject it or accept it, so people always tries to think about that before they ask someone out.so just wait and he'll soon ask you out when he's ready to ask.

ask him for his phone number and ask him out on the phone so you don't embarrass him in front of other people since he is shy. and if he doesn't say anything no one else will know who asked who out first
