i hear that guys are sometimes too scared of shy to tell a girl that u DONT like her more than a friend..what if u meet a girl that is really nice...but u dont like her..how do u show her ur not interested..without her thinking ur "just shy"???

This is a very complicated subject, but I'll give it to you straight.
Many guys are very flattered when they know a girl likes them. And even though they might not like the girl back, most of the time they wont let the girl know, because it makes them feel good inside "Im a man hear me roar, all girls should like me" kindof a thing, you know. He will just lead the girl on, until she finally realizes whats really going on, then she will feel like crap and hate him.
To answer your question, if a guy really really dont like you, and he wants you to know that, he'll probably tell your friends, and/or make fun of you to his friends behind your back. If this happens, send me an e-mail, and I'll tell you how to deal with that.

Earlier this year a girl I hadn't seen for a long time showed up and made it obvious how she felt. At first I just ignored her, but then it became more of a problem and I made it a point to avoid her. It just got worse because I didn't want to be mean to her and other people were starting to notice. After a while she told one of my friends that she liked me and he told her I wasn't interested.

I would never tell a girl to her face that I don't like her more than a friend, but I would try to avoid her, or if she was really getting flirty I would make up a story about some girl I like, and how I might go out with her that night.

I tell them up front. I like them, I would like you as a friend and nothing more. I have several girl friends, and nothing more. We're there for each other, to help with whatever, to talk about problems, etc. I have been told that I'm anything but shy. I tell it like it is, and if I like a girl, I will tell her so.

Well I will simply dont make phone calls. If the girl comes up to me I make an excuse to leave after a couple of minutes.

Ignore them as much as possible. As little eye contact as possible. and if asked a question I keep the answers as short as possibel...in short...the less contact the better.

we will not pay much atention to your questiones and no eye contact and if there is it will be as fast as lightning and if you talk
will respond but keep it nice to the point and short oh and he wont
call or respond your calls if you call
