Both the 'chills' and the inability to open mouth widely are normal.
Keep gargling with luke warm salt water three to four times a day. That would help a lot. Plus do a lot of jaw opening exercises.
Just in case you have too much pain, you can go in for a muscle relaxant to relieve u.

DO NOT GURGLE WITH LUKE WARM SALT WATER, please don't, this will remove the healing coagulation process and you'll end up with an open wound and bone fully uncovered, this will end up in an alveolitis and this is hard to heal and really, really painful.
Removing all four wisdom teeth at once can be a very long process, which can affect your chewing muscles also in charge of pulling up your jaw when you close your mouth. It's like when you get a cramp, your muscle refuses to fully stretch. This will go by with time, just give it a few days, also remember that the position where your teeth contacted when your mouth closed will change, which will also be a bit uncomfortable as this happens.
This could get your teeth to hurt a little.
Also your now most posterior molars (all four) may be too sensitive, this is because some very sensitive dental tissue has been uncovered. This tissue is usually covered by gum. This sensitiveness will last for one or even three weeks, as gum covers it again or as this tissue reacts creating a fully closed layer to protect the nerve and avoid sensitiveness (this tissue usually has very small tubes that give sensitiveness to the tooth).
But please do not gurgle at all, and do not get anything further than warm into your mouth. Try everything to be below warm, do have cold drinks and lots of ice cream, which will also help to avoid any swelling or to stop the swelling.
Do not use straws, do not whistle, do not blow, do not do any efforts or bend down.
Do strain anything you drink, like fruit juices; avoid any small particles, since they tend to get into the wound and then may cause it to get infected.
Good luck.
Regards, Lifeguard.

haha. its all normal...it usually goes away in around a week? i believe. yes, it will go awayy. you should also try shocking yourself with a small piece of metal to see if its normal, you'll feel it if its normal. you cant open your mouth wide enough because the stitches are still fresh, it takes a while for them to "wear in" lol, get used to your mouth ina way. if that makes sense. the surgeon didn't lock you jaw in the wrong place, we'll sue if he did. hope that helped.
