It's normal. I had mine taken out a few years ago, and couldn't open my mouth the way I had for awhile.

The gum over your molar is probably because it is swollen. Mine did that, after a few days it went down a little bit and after about a month everything was fine. I was able to open my mouth all the way and the gum wasn't over my molars anymore.

I had all 4 of mine taken out at once and I also had a
flap over where the tooth was, it will go away
my mouth was also sore for a while cause you have your mouth open so wide for so long, my surgery took a couple of hours
I was also swollen and looked like a chipmunk for over a week
I'm so glad I got it over with

It is not normal, sometimes the area is swollen and it can seem like gum is over the other tooth. See the doctor who did your wisdoms and have it seen to.

hi ...yes it is because you dont have stitches in them just the skin left after the tooth is pulled...keep using the warm salt water..also i used warm wash rags on the outside if it got to hurting but it really would be best to just get back in touch with your dr probably...checking is better than not knowing for sure...good luck..take care too..
