to be honest, im an attractive looking guy..nothing stuning or anything..but why is it so hard for me to find a girlfriend..i dont want a slut i want a nice and fairly decent girl..what can i do?

There's a great book, "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Dr. Robert Glover. It changed my life. Read it, and take it seriously.
Without knowing too much about you, the two big problems single guys suffer from is shyness or clinginess. There is such a thing as "trying to hard". People really get annoyed by that, especially women or young girls.
I've dated some pretty good looking girls before I got married. Women will pick a guy who interests them regardless of looks. In college, I saw the dopiest, nerdiest guys get decent women just because the women thought they were cool. Until they found out the guy wasn't actually cool, but that's a different story.
Maybe your standards are too high. Most hot women know they're hot, and if you don't have "game", you don't have a chance. Believe it or not, they get dissed on a fairly regular basis by the hot guys.
All I can say is get that book, develop other interests that make you a more interesting person, be patient, and someone will come along.

Hello disappointed: That is a question that only time can answer OK. It is not the end of the world yet so please be patient, you may be overlooking the obvious. You might be looking in the wrong place for someone who is right for you. Maybe go to Church and get to know diff. people. Maybe go to a rink, or pool or game. Nice girls are not going to fall out of the sky, they usually have a nice 350lb. Cop Daddy and a real cougar for a mother. Soooo-check out the places that most bad boys don't go, use your imagination. Good Luck to you

Well, all you can do is wait for the right girl... Don't look desperate... even the most gorgeous guys can be desperate and then everyone would not like him at all! So, wait and be cool, and maybe try to be a lot more outgoing!!!!!! girls like attractive, funny, and sweet guys!

Well, you just have to get out there more. And you have to look in the right places. Bars and pubs, places where you work (if you do), if you're in college or school, and if all else fails i got two Words for you: INTERNET DATING!
