Yes. Remember there is only a finite amount of things you can do and eternity is infinite. What happens after you have done everything there is to do? And learned everything there is to learn? Then what?
Will you maintain your self-realization and memories in heaven? Not if you plan on having a life with no pain or suffering. Who we are is based on our past life experiences, both joyful and painful, and the memory of a painful experience causes a re-living of the pain that memory involved. To live a life of no suffering would require that all memory of suffering be erased. Who you were would have to be altered drastically in order for you to never suffer again. The person you know yourself to be right now could not exist in heaven. And what good does it do you to live for an eternity in harmony and peace if you can't remember your life experiences, the beauty of diversity, or the exquisite pleasures of the full spectrum of human experiences because you have lost awareness of who you were as an individual? As individuals, we find pleasure in various ways, most of these involving the expansion of our knowledge and life experiences. For some of us that means learning as much as we can about a topic of interest or several topics of interest. For others it means getting out and experiencing the world; exploring the wonders of nature, space, sports and whatever else which may bring us slack. Humans become weak if they are not challenged. Muscles atrophy if not stressed, so does the mind and the will. How long do you think it would take for eternity to become boring?

Where did you get the notion heaven is a place of eternal bliss?God is creating the God family through us, and if you've visited the scriptures you've noticed that God is extremely creative, and therefore our minds would be involved in all types of creative endeavors! Who knows how many other universes God is in the process of creating right now.
As a forerunner man was given domain over the creatures of the earth, air, and sea, well we kind of messed that up. but remember we are still children and we have so many lessons to
learn, and we will make mistakes, and oh by the way don't forget
satan and his pals, busy whispering all sorts of evil deeds to do
in our ears.
With the return of Jesus,at least he'll have the devil tied up for a few decades so we can concentrate on God's plans. I know this
sounds like a childs fairy tale, but did you ever consider that even
fairy tales have some basis in fact, and I like this idea of going off
to do whatever God has in store for us than sitting around doing
nothing but floating around on blissful clouds for eternity!!

No. Heaven will be eternal good health. Well you miss pain? I won't. Loved ones that have passed away, accepted Christ, will be there too. Wouldn't love to see them again? I want to. Maybe we'll be able to fly. We'll never be "dumb" Everything will be good, perfect, What's wrong with that? I'm sure God has fun things in store for us. I'm sure He wouldn't make Heaven a boring place. Hey...He lives there too...

Right! As people tell it from the Bible, it does sound boring, at least after the initial tour!! They must be wrong about heaven. It is different than depicted and there is much more to do for a higher purpose. Good Question!! @8-)

Eternal bliss, by definition, is not boring. If you are bored, you aren't blissful are you? The traditional idea of Heaven is sometimes misleading. Believe me, no one in Heaven will EVER be dissapointed with what God had in store for them. Ever.
P.S.- GREAT answer by wd!

This is what I've pieced together from various christians on this site.1) No pets (even if they were the most important part of your life) 2) No friends or relatives (if they didn't happen to adhere to your specific brand of religion) 3) No body (so no enjoyment of food or sex or anything else we relied on our physical bodies for) 4)No brain (so we would have no memories of pets, friends, relatives and earthly pleasures anyway) I guess your 'soul' gets to spend a lot of time with the nit-picky attention starved megalomaniac you 'worshiped' all your life who would just as soon be torturing you in hell as looking at you. That's gotta be uncomfortable.

Satan must have liked it, cause he sure has been in a snit since he got thrown out. Seriously, you're talking about a place where there is no evil. No child molesters or killers. No pollution, no hunger, no deception, no sickness. How could that ever be boring? I don't know about you, but I don't need those things to make my good times great.

no it is not boring - there will be responsibility (what do you think the ruling and reigning part is all about and the "judging angels" part), there will be all kinds of things to do. The bliss part doesn't mean inactivity, it means total peace without the hassles of satan causing affliction, torment, disease, death, deception, confusion and all the rest of it. Just think complete total "fun" without the bad consequences that go with it.

Heaven is not a place. It is your true state of being.
Time as you think of it does not exist.
The idea that we can know the good only by knowing the bad, or any other opposites, is a lie told by ego to keep our focus turned from God.

think about it this way--look at the night sky. Imagine how far across the universe is. the stars are so bright, yet just specks to us becuase they are so far away. the God who made this unsearchable universe, is able to do anything.....you're kinda right in some ways about things getting boring....I mean to live forever and not be bored? That means that it MUST be unbelievably awesome!!
