i am trying to pursuade my parents into getting me a dog wut should i say to them that they might let me get a dog?

Try getting something a little easier to take care of first and then let them see that you can handle it. They just don't want to be the ones that have to care for the dog.

Honestly, you have to find every reason that they would say no. You have to address each one of those reasons in your head, and then find counter reasons that would be "yes". They may not want the mess in the house. A lot of noise comes with owning a dog. A lot of smells, hair, and then the responsibility of keeping a living organism alive. You have to prepare yourself to be able to accommodate them in all of these inconveniences. You will have to convince them that you are prepared to bring in an animal, which is just like bringing another human being, into the house without disrupting the entire home. Let them know that a dog is a man's best friend and make sure you get a dog from an animal shelter. That way you can save a dog's life and become more responsible and nurturing.

get ur fave aunt /uncle/granparents 2 side-up with u .start letting ur dad watch HIS fave TV stuff&help mom at home.showing them WELL behaved dogs&reading dog books&speaking bout dogs will help.drop a hint that u will be more responsible with a pet.dont break the 'be nice' routine 4 a long long time.talk dogs all the time.promise 2get better grades at school.let them know
