Anyone I EVER went out with or on a date with told me I intimidated them. I don't understand what is it that I do that intimidates them? I am friendly. I try to make dates fun. I am a little aggressive but a tiny bit in a sexual way. I am nice. Or I think I am, I surprise my boyfriends' with cookies or something... What is the deal?

Well guys usually feel more comfortable taking control, so when a girl is aggressive they say you are intimidating. Also if you are very attractive you are said to be intimidating, as in they are afraid they are gonna do something to screw it up. They are afraid they will make one wrong move and the good thing will go to waste. Take it sorta as a compliment though i am sure it can be a bit frustrating to be told that. Hope that helps ya out!

We have never gone out together, so this will have to be an indirect answer to your question. A lot of guys feel intimidation from a girl if she "comes on too strong". If you make the decisions as where to go, what to eat, or what to do, any guy will feel a certain amount of intimidation. I would, but I wouldn't let it happen that way either. You might be better looking than they think they deserve, and thus, they will be intimidated again. Whatever the reason, it's not all your fault.

Some guy are intimidated by pretty women. its like if your are very pretty then they gotta worry about fighting guys off you all the time. Some are intimidated by brains. They cant see getting with a girl that is smarter than them, And then again some guys are just retarded lol!

It sounds to me like these men are a bit low on their self-esteem and because you are not passive, but a tad assertive, they deem you "intimidating", which I think is an unfair term to use towards you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you being assertive and outgoing, I think that is a wonderful trait. But if these men desire a woman who is more passive, then perhaps they need to look for one and not sterotype you in the manner that they have.

I have gotten this a lot too. It all comes with confidence. You are a woman who knows what she wants. Most MEN want a woman who needs to be rescused. If you know what you want and how to achieve it, this intimidates them. One day you will find a man who will be like "Wow, you are a strong, confident woman. That's awesome."
