Nehemiah was a King's cupbearer. He rose above that lowly station to write the most boring book in all of antiquity.

You seem like a well-thought lady. If you put it that way, I'm gladly accepted. Unlike some other people, you don't complain or bash about the immigrants.
Now to answer your current question, I think every Bible is good. All Bible teach us to be tolerant, helpful, kind, and respectful to others.
My philosophy of life is not what we say or how many time we go to the church that make us a better person but of what we do and how we live as a human being that will earn ourselves the respect and the dignity from the others.
Both of my parents are Catholic, but I don't go to the church. That doesn't make me a bad person or Juda. However, I always try to help out other people in my ability whenever I see the dangers ahead of them and I take no pride or credit for helping people because as a human being, we are obligated to save the people's lives when they are in needs.
I know this doesn't address to your question but I think I do make a good point on mentioning it.
Good luck with your poem and sorry I can't help you much on this subject.

They came to Capernaum; and when He was in the house, He began to question them, "What were you discussing on the way?"
But they kept silent, for on the way they had discussed with one another which of them was the greatest.
Sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, "If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all." ~Mark 9: 33-35

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in all things, consider others better than yourself. You should look out not only for your own interests, but for the interests of others.
