He may not know where you live or your name but be careful cuz he can follow you home and maybe even spy on you there and follow you to work and stuff... Knowing your license plate also means that if a similiar car to yours is in your work parking lot he'll know if its you or not cuz he knows your plate... Very scary out there, be careful... If you suspect someone is following you, make 3 right turns in a row, cuz that basically puts you in a circle... If they're still following you, then drive straight to the police stateion, or call 911 on your cell phone... Better be safe then sorry....

Depends on the state. Some states allow companies to aggregate certain bits of information, like criminal records or license plate numbers, for background checks.

yes they can if they know someone who will run the license plates for them, they cant go on line and do it there self without having access to a police data bank, but there's ways to by pass that also, but yes certain people could find out who you was ,all the have to do is say they seen you hit and run or commit a crime, and they could probably find out who you was,but this doesn't happen very often, its considered a violation of your privacy unless the law does it,good luck,i hope this help,s.
