Your boyfriend has a lot of rage. All you are doing is enabling him. He's not making any progress because you keep running back to him before he has a chance to realize how bad his problem really is.

Call a time out on the relationship. Tell him that he has got to manage his anger or your going to leave him for good.

The next step is physical abuse and guess who's going to be the target?

If you can't stop this roller coaster and get off, go see a school counselor or some other professional therapist that can help you find out why you continue to place yourself in harms way for the sake of love. Are you so insecure and needy that you would allow this guy to beat up on you, too? He's doing it verbally now. The next step is physical.

Keep your distance from this guy. He's trouble, unless and until he gets things under control

I know you say you love him but the under-feeling I get is that you're not happy. Okay, you have your good times, but does that balance out with the bad times? It is possible to have a relationship where its more good times and no broken mirrors or laptops....I'm pretty superticious and you know what they say, a broken mirror is 7 years bad luck. I reckon you will figure out soon enough that you can have a good time being single and then later, you'll find a guy who doesn't yell and doesn't make you do all the running
good luck

Hello unfortunate - First of all jealousy is not love, trust, caring, sharing, and a good set of armour is what really makes a relationship. If he can only show anger- not saying that you are free of criticism yet as I don't know you. It's time to go to work and either figure out what it is that makes the two of you click or move on before you get hurt (physically). He doesn't own you and you don't own him, so now the balls in your court-Think about it OK. Life is to short. Best of luck to you and stay safe-please

You are in for one rocky ride.
He needs to go to anger management to control his temper. You both need to seek counseling to address what you are arguing about and why. (What kind of lifestyle do you live? Are there pet peeves? Are you both pushing each others buttons? Is alcohol and/or drug use involved? Any cheating involved?) Something isn't right in this picture.
Speaking from experience of wanting to stay with him after being treated so badly, I'm suggesting you are insecure and feel that if you lose him, you have nobody to turn to. You need to toughen up and be prepared to defend yourself emotionally and possibly physically. Be ready to leave on the spur of the moment if need be and have a back-up plan of a place to go for safety and support. I hope you can both work this out peacefully and come to a mutual agreement. If neither of you want to seek help, then sorry to say, you deserve each other!

I think you should break up with him.NO relationship should have what you guys have. Breaking a piece of your laptop is kind off um... idk but he must have been very angry. No one should live with that. And you shouldnt have to always run back to him every time when its not even your fault. Atleast take a rest from each other. Let everything calm down before you going back to him if you decide to stay together.BUt i'm just saying i think its best if you break up.

Sounds like a love/ hate relationship, and a control/insecure relationship. Think you both need to alter some behaviors before you go any further, which could lead to you being hurt physically eventually, or you being an enabler to his controlling ways.

been there - done that.. five years of my life. know what i discovered? i deserve better! more importantly, YOU deserve better! no one has the right to play yo-yo with your emotions like this, and if he is violent enough to break things out of anger, who's to say he won't hit you next time? if he doesn't trust you, then there is no basis for a relationship. trust is a huge factor in love! :)

run, honey. run while you can. you can do better! I promise!!
good luck!

Mariah Carey said it best...
"When you love someone so deeply
They become your life
It's easy to succumb to overwhelming fears inside
Blindly I imaged I could
Keep you under glass
Now I understand to hold you
I must open my hands
And watch you rise

Spread your wings and prepare to fly
For you have become a butterfly
Fly abandonedly into the sun
If you should return to me
We truly were meant to be
So spread your wings and fly
Butterfly..."
If you're truly meant to be, you will be. Let him go, as hard as I know it is to do. If he truly loves you HE'LL COME BACK TO YOU!
If he does go back to you, ask him to seek anger management counseling. If he really wants it to work he'll do what is necessary to better himself.

No. You should make a stand and not take that kind of treatment.
You get this kind of treatment just being in a relationship with him.. imagine in the long run? Should leave now and cut your losses.

It sounds like he has anger and control issues. I would be very wary of this if I were you, and take that into consideration before entering back into a relationship with him. Good luck.
