ok so my ex-love's best friend told me about 2 weeks ago that he really likes me a lot.... but i don't feel the same way about him (i am still getting over my ex for one thing cuz the break up was very recent still..) and so then the best friend didn't talk to me for the second week, because he said it was too hard for him since he knew i would "never feel the same way and we would never happen" but then he just texted me again and told me yet again for about the hundredth time how he likes me and wants me. but he still says "but you don't feel the same way" and all that stuff. and he is like how you doing babe? and all this stuff like that.. so i don't know what he is doing or why he keeps trying....?! and i don't know what i can do.. because i still want to be friends, so i don't want to do the whole lie and say i have a bf thing or whatever cuz i couldn't hurt him like that.. but i don't want to lead him on or anything.. but he obviously isn't getting the picture...? any advice?!

Coolio this is your ex best friend right. Think why would your ex best Friend go behind his back like that. Either its a setup or he is playing you. Just be honest and say your right I don't feel the same way you do. As far as friendship goes its his lost whether he stay or leaves. Good friends base their foundation on trust.

Tell him u r not interested in another relationship right now and if he doesn`t get that..tell him..that u already told him that u were not interested and if he persists in asking you out...get a peace bond or call on yer big brother or some other male to talk to him.sorry..but you can`t be too safe today..good luck

Tell him what you just said here, you're not over the break up yet. He should understand that and you never know after you're finally over your ex this guy may look like pretty good boyfriend material.

Explain to him that you are not over your ex yet, & you just want to be friends. Tell him that you like him as a friend, & that you would appreciate it if you could just be friends. If he doesn't stop after that, then you are just going to have to distance yourself from him.

errmmm, my friend went through this.. well if you ever "play-flirt", that should stop...and...if not then you gotta let it go. he'll stop some time, but i doubt he'll stop feeling that way for a long while.
