I'm a teacher, and the only single guys I tend to meet are student teachers (who are usually younger) and single dads (which I'm not into). One of my colleagues met her fiancee on the Internet. Does anyone know if this really works?

Although it seems like you would need to be more cautious when meeting someone new that you met on-line I have seen some very good examples of two people who are wonderful for each other meeting online and it working out nicely. I have a friend who I worked with for years who met his wife online. They have been together now for 5 years and are still happy. So, it is possible to meet the right one online.

It works a whole lot more than you think. It's great for people like us who don't get out much more than work permits. There are literally 1000's of internet love stories now.
