I'm pretty sure I have a warrant for failure to appear for a minor traffic violation (I think one of my stickers were out) This was in the town my mother lives in (Humble) I live in another town (Katy, these are both outside of Houston, by the way) Will these show up when I go to get my drivers license? If they do, will I be arrested on the spot or will I be given an oppurtunity to pay? I have every intention to pay, renewing my license just takes priority right now. I will, however, be more than willing to pay them if they show up.

Settle it by going there and paying in full. Why get locked up and get additional fines and court costs?

You know what? Warrants are a big myth. Just go out, drive, get your license taken care of. etc. Heck go down to the local copshop and tell 'em you got a warrant and there ain't a thing they can do about it!
I am pretty sure this is the case because my cousin's neighbor knows a guy who talked with someobdy who used to know a chick who worked in a lawyer's office.

You stated that you have every intention on paying, but with your last sentence "I will, however, be more than willing to pay them if they show up." makes it sound as if you have the money to pay, but don't want to unless you get caught. Go down to the court that holds you warrant and pay the fine already.
