I've been dating this guy for 3 months. I'm 17 and a virgin. He's 20 and not. I've been thinking about having sex because I honestly feel ready. But I wanted some other opinions from other people. Do you think it's too soon? And if so how long do you think I should wait? He knows I've been feeling this but he didnt want to say anything cause he didn't want to put pressure on me and he wants me to make sure that its what I want.

It really depends on how important having your virginity is to you!! ALso....make sure that you are doing it because you want to and not for Love because you and him will not be together in a year. BET!
In addition he's more than likely not pressuring you because you are 17 years old and he's experienced so he probably has someone that he's already sleeping with on a consistant basis. I'm sure not pressuring you is pressure within itself. Make the right decesion, but do it for you and no regrets!!

the evidence and the idea that you are even asking is a sure sign that youre not ready yet
if its even true that you are already feeling that it is the right time you would not even be asking questions right now

which leads me to the conclusion
that you are not ready
and im glad that man is respectful enough not to put pressure on you
and for a personal point of view youre too young
are you ready to get pregnant?
cause even though there are contraceptives , its not 100 percent effective

are you ready to take care and be in charge of the life of another human being?

If this guy is real with you, decide what you want and how to keep it to yourself. I used to be a teenager waaay back there. Do what you're going to do with or without Answers. Give yourself permission if that's what you are asking for here. No one else is going to take the blame for what you do except you! Remember that! And the most important part is keeping it to yourself and not telling anyone. That's the hard part, not the hormonal part!! @8-)

You are young, and sex changes EVERYTHING ... is not just about "the act" but everything that comes along with it. It's literally, Pandora's box ... and if you are asking ... YOU ARE NOT READY.
When you are ... and only you will know ... do it for you ... not to show him you love him... worst mistake of your life.

You should first make him beg on his knees to have sex with you. Women have the power and you should learn to use it.
