Tow yard liens you get notice of by mail b/c they're selling your car. Other liens....
- on your credit
- when you try to turn the title over to someone else

Contact your licensing office, any legal liens that are being put against a certain vehicle will be listed. If you are the registered owner, you can request a printed record of what is on file.

Your question makes no sense. Everything you listed can put a lien on your vehicle. If you want to know IF their is a lien, get a hold of the DMV in your state. If you want to know WHO has a lien on your vehicle, contact your DMV. If you want to PUT a lien on your vehicle, once again contact your DMV.
