depending on the size of the potato it can take anywhere from 35 to 55 minutes. best thing to do is scrub the potato, prick it a few times with a fork and pop it in the microwave for 8 to 10 minutes, its great that way! Split it open, add a bit of butter and pepper and salt and some grated cheese on top YUMMY

You can cook them with or without foil on 350 for about an hour. Be sure to poke them a few times with the fork before you bake them so they do not explode and make a mess of your oven.

Rub with butter, wrap in foil, prick with a knife on each side. Bake @ 350 degrees for 60 minutes. If you mean a convection oven, 45 minutes should be long enough.

here is the best answer for any temp question anyone will ever have. go to a kitchen supply store, ask for a thermometer that you can poke into food with. buy it. meats need to be at 165 degrees for at least 15 seconds. for everything else, 115 for 30 seconds. i forget exactly what the thermometer is called, but its the same type you would use to check a turkey for thanksgiving.

got a microwave? fork holes in potatoe put in plastic bag tie close punch hole in bag small potatoes about 5 min medium 10 larger cook until fork tender
