eat under a certain amount of calories in a day.....Look up your age and and gender and see how many calories someone your age needs to sustain the same weight you are at now then cut calories.....For example as a woman in her thirties I need 1500 a day to stay at the same weight I am at now so if I want to lose I eat less then 1500 calories and lose weight....exercise will burn even more calories so for maximum weight loss eat 1200 calories and exercise doing some cardio 20 mins a day.....I did this and lost 70lbs in 6 mnths after my last baby.....I generally ate about 1000 calories a day....but some days i needed more so I ate more....I also did not stay on the diet more then three or 4 days because if you diet more then that your body will only start burning that many callories whereas before it was burning 1500 calories...So I would eat 1000 calories for three or four days then eat normal 1500 calories for three days then go back on 1000 calories in essence fooling my metabolism.....So on those days where Id cut calories to 1000 my body was used to burning 1500 and Id see more rapid weight loss......I saw a doctor on some show talking about fooling your metabolism so I tried it and it produced fast and good results......
Also eating Yogurt an hour after you wake up in the morning for breakfast starts your metabolism into burn mode.something in the yogurt! saw a doctor talking about this on tv too, think on The View and I always started my day with a yogurt........good luck!

There is no magic weight-loss pill, supplement, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Brad Pitt didn’t get cut for Fight Club by drinking green tea, and you won’t either.
Walk for 30 minutes every day, including weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. Do at least 30 minutes of weight training each week. Do 60 minutes of additional, higher intensity cardio each week.
Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Throw out all of your ice cream, chips, cookies, cheese, fried foods, bacon, and candy.
Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. Don’t starve yourself during the day, but if you don't wake up famished, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed.
Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Turn off the TV and the computer. Sleep is vitally important.
Don't consume alcohol—alcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value. Some people will argue that alcohol has some health benefits when consumed in moderation—I’m not debating that—but we’re talking about weight loss here. Lay off the booze if you want to lose the belly.
Drink lots of water, then drink more. Not tea, not Gatorade, not milk. Water. If your urine isn’t almost clear, you need to drink more water.
Good luck.

This varies on everyone. First try changing you lifestyle by reducing amount of food intake. Dont drasticaly change but reduce your food intake daily. Also switch what you are eating. Instead of a bag of chips eat fruits and vegetables. Don't drink pop or other sugar beveages. Drink water and milk. Exercise daily. Gastric bypass is expensive but is always an option if you are significantly overweight. You best bet is to talk with a nutritionist or you doctor. Hope this helps a little.

eat small amounts several times a day. instead of 3 big meals have 5 smaller meals/snacks. Less calories, and excersise. Walking is the best thing to do. Small changes, to much and you won't stick to it. Find your weakness and concure that first. Don't eliminate the things you love, take them in moderation. Have something to eat within 15 min of waking up, and stop eating about 4 hrs before going to bed. Don't stress, relax, and just take it in slow and do what you can handle. And enjoy your food, turn on the lights, turn off the tv, and enjoy your food. Good luck.

well theres no secret trick or pill ya know?!
ok, just excersize more, eat healthier and less
consume less energy than you burn off.
stress less (proven), and get more sleep.
good luck!!!!, i hope youre doing this to be a healthier person,
also know that weight problems are purely psychological, and the pounds wont shed until youre ready. are you ready?

exercise, eat low fat food, less sugar more fruits, don't skip any meal but don't eat much, don't overstuff yourself, just stop when you feel you can eat a little more. a psychological way to make your self feel that you have eaten enough is by using a small plate to eat in. make sure you follow your diet patiently.
