hello there im new to this so please be nice to me,

i'm a 16 shy year old, and i really like a girl, but the problem is she never come out of her house,so i can never speak too her,the only time i see her is when she go's to the shop's with her mum, she live's about five house's from me, but i could talk to her when i see her but i'm way too shy, how can i ask her for her number or ask her go on a date with me, please it's killing me cause she dont really have any friends and i could be her best friend, please could someone help me ??????

and how would i know if she feels the same

It's easy bro, you know that!
Just treat her with respect and maybe just knock on her door and ask her if she'd like to walk to school or work with you one morning!
Failing that, look her number up and speak to her on the phone if your really that shy...
But just do not waste your life away being shy, it really is a total waste when you weigh up how long we really have on this earth. Take the Bull by the horns matey, I think it's long overdue...
And if all else fails, you can never have too many friends, right? So you wont have really lost anything...

Don't rush if you or her are too shy. Offer her to a friendly outing like a hike or something so that you have plenty of time to talk and get to know each other. Even if you're shy, you'll eventually speak up. Get to know her really well and become her best friend.

Just say hello. If you always see her at the shops with her Mum then approach her mum by offering to carry her bags, of course if you are in England this might not work as you would be seen as a potential mugger but give it a try!

Does she know you at all? Is she sending any signals? Because if she is, you should go ahead and ask her the next time you see her. Do you know what school she goes to? Most chances you have a connection somehow. And if none of these ideas work, put a letter in her mailbox with a return address.

You never know unless you try! I would just do it. Thinking too hard is painful. I'd simply go out there and do it. The worse thing that could happen is if you never do anything... then you would never know. Hope that helps!

make eye contact with her, she's bound to notice you paying attention to her. strike up more friendly conversations with her, and ask her out for lunch, this gives you the opportunity to ask her for her number or to know more about her. then you guys can hang out more often. if she looks at you when you're not noticing or when she becomes nervous when you're around would show that she might have something towards you.

If that's your prob, you must fight with your shyness and ask her like.. "Hey,, (her name)!! how are you??" or if you don't want to do that,, make an 'accident' and say sorry, and talk to her as long as you can.. lol!! i hope tis thing will work..
