supply or admin if i was a girl and couldn't be a grunt thats what i would do. don't go motor transportation, its just a crappy job plus when you go over seas your pretty prone to ied attacks because you are always driving. semper fi devil dog i just remembered an awesome job for a girl. it would be armory, you pick up rank pretty fast if your a good marine and stay out of trouble and stay in good shape and you don't really do much except work on broken weapons.

Some people here have suggested a career in the medical field, which makes it pretty obvious that they don't know anything about Marine Corps jobs because there's no medical field in the Marines. The Marine Corps' medical care is taken care of by the Navy, down to the medic (corpsman) going into battle with the Marines.

That said, there are a lot of career fields that you might enjoy as a woman. The Marine Corps has a lot of jobs that are open to women that you might like. What you choose really depends on what you want to do in life, what kind of training you want to get and such.

This website - http://www.usmilitary.com/marinesenlistedoccupations.html - has information on all the jobs in the Marine Corps and also gives examples of civilian jobs this training can help you with.

I am sure the recruiter can inform you on what your options are, be sure you talk to a recruiter you feel comfortable with and you get good vibes from as far as their honesty with you. You should look up on-line for a list of jobs the Marine Corps offer. I found this website that at least lists what the MOSs are and it usually has legit information. You likely know that the MOS (military occupational skill aka Job) is alpha numeric so you will see a long list of numbers that have links to the job description and with that list it should explain whether a female can do the job or not. by the way if you are eligible to join the service you should consider your self a woman not just a girl!!

Most Medical in the Marine Corps are from the Navy. WHY? Because the Marines are strict, disciplined combatants. They are always rifleman first.

Now then, in the Corps.......a woman can do many things. Yeoman, report preparing, handling the weapons room sign in and outs................There are many things.

firefighter, but not in the Marines, in the army. You recruiter can put your job into your contract before you go to basic. Then you will be guaranteed that job. None of the other branches will do that

A girl in the Marines could be a good nurse, doctor, quartermaster, bugler, amphibous operator and riflewoman.
