You should probably get a trim. When I get bored I look for the split ends and cut them off or else separate them. Probably not good for my hair. When I was in high school I did it all the time in study hall.

The key to controlling split ends is regular trims...at least every 4-6 weeks trim off the ends about 1/2 inch. Also, avoid over-washing and drying your hair. I know this sounds "counterintuitive" to say don't wash too much, but water is actually drying to the hair. So if possible, wash every other day. Also, avoid heat as much as possible...don't over-dry when blow drying and when you blow dry the hair, smooth the hair from scalp to ends with the direction of the blower dryer blowing down the hair shaft to lay the cuticles down. There are also products you can purchase to apply prior to blow drying to be a barrier between the heat and hair. Curling iron and straighten as little as possible....just another damaging step if your ends are already damaged and fragile. And last but not least, good shampoo and conditioner. Try several and then rotate your top 3 picks every 2 or 3 months.

The best thing to do would be to trim them as soon as possible. It's better to get rid of split ends before they take over! Then you'll end up needing A LOT cut off later. It's okay if you're scared to lose length but if you get them trimmed now, you'll be better off in the long run.

Bad split ends also make your hair look really ratty overall. Your hair may not curl too well either.

Trim! Go for it (at the salon) :)

First you have to get the split ends cut off then start using a shampoo, conditioner, and dressing that is specifically made for preventing split ends. If you use a lot of heat on your hair, you may want to cut back because that makes split ends also.

Go to a hair salon and get your hair trimmed or cut. A professional salon uses sharp scissors. If the scissors aren't sharp, dull scissors will just give you more split ends. Split ends are more prevalent in the winter because the air is so dry due to indoor heating systems. Using a humidifier in your bedroom could help put more moisture back in your hair...and will also moisturize your skin. Also, be gentle when you brush your hair.

Go to a salon and get your hair trim. When you have split ends it means it's time for a trim. Also a tip when you can tell it's time for a trim when you brush or comb your hair and more hair than usually comes out and if you twist a piece of hair and if your end goes different ways it's time for a trim also.

the best and really only thing to do is cut it. you can't repair split ends. you can use product to smooth them down, but they are still split. if you don't cut them, they will continue to split higher and higher on the hair shaft. change is good, start with a positive attitude and a great new haircut! continue getting regular cuts to prevent new split ends. use a heat protecting product before blow drying and heat styling.

I would first get a hair cut and then would invest in a good shampoo and conditioner and twice a week warm up olive oil in the microwave (for a few seconds) and put all over your hair as a hot oil treatment, try in leave on for at least an hour. Olive Oil is wonderful and worked for me. Good luck!

do not blowdry/straighten/curl your hair as many times. warmth on your hair provides harm, to boot as chop up ends! Scrunch it more desirable many times after the bathe with healthful gel's. Use shampoos and conditioners like herble essences and garnier fructis. Shampoo and conditioner in the bathe the different day. In between, only use somewhat of conditioner. this received't dry out your hair as a lot and it is going to likely be finished & in good structure. I used to straighten my hair conventional, yet now i scrunch it round 3 situations per week. I felt the adaptation immediately and my hair is a lot in good structure. some adult adult males also particularly like the moist- curly hair look, haha. particularly wish this helped! sturdy success (:

Go to a parlour Habibs or Juicy or Nalinis etc. and get a nice cut. Then regularly do shampoo and after that use conditioner.
After the hair gets dried out, apply after bath hair serum like livon etc.

Shampoo needs to be done at aleast once in 2 days.

Once a week apply oil and then shampoo it after 30 minutes.

Hope you have nice hair..............
