I'm wondering if your question is really how to add lean body mass? Many ideas offered: carb loading at bedtime, consumption of sugar laden items -- will add fat to most people.

To gain lean body weight: exercise (preferably with weights) and increase caloric intake. Eat more well-balanced meals/snacks per day.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Hi,

Eat oats with fresh (or frozen) fruits or raisins. Oats should put some weight, but it is healthy and it's a good step in the morning.

You also can take some chocolate, but the one without refined sugar added. Sunspire (brand) has dark chocolate chips.

Also, eat complete ingredients like complete rice, semoula, pasta, bread (flour). Very healthy again. I only buy my food UNenriched though and i enjoy baking my own cakes, breads, etc..

And then finally eat nuts (if you are not allergic).

You also can put a little olive oil (or walnut oil or the one of your choice) in your meal, but not too much because too much fat linked to other issues not too good for health.

I hope it helps!
Good luck.

Eat your basic 3 meals per day and have a milk shake between meals made with the flavored carnatrion instant breakfast mixed with icecream and whole milk. My doctor had me on this regimen for alomst a year and it worked. I got totally sick of icecream after a while but it does add weight and has nutritional value.

Exercise. Eventhough you will be burning calories and fat, you will be building muscle which is heavier than fat. Get on a good exercise routine or program and you will see.
