Myself!
I was molested as a child, on top of other family dysfunction. I had absolutely NO self-esteem in my teens and early 20s. I made bad choices for myself, especially in relationships. But I kept working on myself and doing what I could to get better.
After having a child, and then having to divorce his alcoholic father, I really had to struggle to be a good parent and role model and to provide a decent upbringing for my son. I have made many mistakes along the way (just ask my son - he's almost 16 - LOL!) But for the most part, I believe I have done a pretty good job considering what I've come from, and how easily I could have given up on myself and turned to drugs or other self-destructive lifestyles.

i have two. lol. well of course my mother, and major Crites. See my mom, because she had to put up with my dad for soo long, he would make up stuff and just plainly give her hell. She fought to have me live with her, and ever since i have been sooo happy. And major Crites, well he makes me feel like i am important, he never gets on me or puts me on the spot like Sergeant Richardson. He understands how i feel about alot of stuff, and he is VERY blunt. he gets his poind across, i wanna be like both of them, my moms sensitive and caring side, but then Major Crites bravery and understanding. Sound good?
