Is he trying to get back together or something? You aren't very clear on that. The way your letter is worded, this "love" could be entirely a one-sided stalker type thing while he is on about his business dating other girls!
I think if an ex still loved you, the person would not be an Ex. They would be a current. So if this guy is not making moves to get back together, is dating someone else, talking about old times to get you back into bed, not talking about anything but sex or sexual involvement, no plans for marriage or commitment, then you know its just a booty game and I woulnd't be bothered.
