If we're broken up? Or is it better to not live together and keep going out?

I lived with my ex after we broke up. It was really hard because I wanted to start dating other people (I'd been unhappy for a long time), he wanted to get back together, so I had to lie to get out of the house. I almost never came home because it was easier than having him beg me to get back together. I moved out about a month and a half after we broke up, I couldn't deal with it any more. After that I swore I would never live with another boyfriend again, and didn't. My husband and I got engaged the day we moved in together, so he was my fiance, not my boyfriend. :)

Sounds like you're not really broke up yet. Look inside, Are you ready to move on? Playing the game of trying to hang on to
something will cause everyone more pain. Talk to him. It's either
over or it's not.

You need to move on..find your independence..living together will just make it harder for you to get the life you want

It's doable but very tough on both. It all depends on a lot of things.

As a generic response, no. I wouldn't suggest it.
