Not a big deal at all. Simply drain the oil. Don't forget there are TWO drain plugs on your particular engine. Replace the oil filter, and fill up with new engine oil, and you're good to go. You should ALWAYS change the oil, and refill the engine with NEW coolant, when doing any type of engine work anyways.

Well, you say you've changed the oil and filter twice, so I think that should be okay and taken care of. As far as the plugs, how did they look before you changed the intake? If you didn't look at them, I would have to assume they were the same. As long as the oil and fuel aren't excessive, I would say they are normal. As far as the hard starting, you didn't say whether you changed the carburetor of not. If so, you may need to adjust the carburetor. If not, there is a possibility that the hard starting is from a vacuum leak caused by a vacuum line disconnected, or a possible leak between the intake manifold and the heads. If so, this will cause a lean condition, and your plugs will be white, like they've been hot. However, this will usually only happen after some time.
