you will need the scuncii no slip grip scrunchii and whatever else you normally use to secure your bun

- flip your head over
-gather your hair in a pony tail (while still having your head flipped)
-tie the pony tail with the no slip grip and straighten back up
-wrap your hair around the base of the pony
-secure with another no slip grip
-then top with your normal bun thingy

The bun has to be raised high enough so as not to pull by the weight of it.. OR low enough to fit in the curve of the back of your neck for the same reason. Do you know what a snood is? Its a crocheted little cap for your bun.. you can have them made in so m any colors to match outfits and decorate them with flower buds or ribbons. Also a hair net covering and anchoring your bun close to your head can help. My hair was down past my waist and I would put part in a bun on my head and braid or twist the rest in one or two pieces.. you can do a lot of things if you have enough clips and bobby pins. Good luck and maybe you can find some hair ideas online somewhere or see some hairdo books at the local beauty academy. (hugs)

I have a friend who has REALLY long hair and manages to successfully get it in a ballerina bun (yes she is a dancer) all the time. Just get your hair in a tight ponytail that isn't too low. Then twist it tightly and coil into bun shape sticking in bobby pins as you go. The bobby pins are the key so don't be afraid to use a million of them. Then put a hairnet (optional) to catch any fly aways and you're ready to go.

I am completely inept at hair styles. I can't do anything with my hair. I can't put my hair in a bun, either. I used to ask my friends to do it for me. Then I found this hair comb thingy in the drug store and it was totally easy to use. You just put your hair in a pony tail, then make a circle out of this comb and pull the pony tail through the center of the comb. Then you fold the comb inside out a few times with your hair caught inside it. The comb catches your hair and holds it in place. It makes a perfect bun! You can do other things with the comb thingy, but a bun was the only thing that I could ever manage successfully.

Wel, first put your hair in a tight pony tail. Then, wrap the pony tail around forming a bun shape. Put as many pony tail holders as you need to keep the bun in place. Then, if you'd like, you can use a think hair net just around the bun to keep it firm and in place.
