I am getting lines on my forehead because of this constant doing this. I wonder why I feel the urge to do it? does anybody else have this problem?
what is your reason?

My husband does this all the time! I am constantly pushing his eyebrows down and telling him he's too young to have such deep forehead lines. I don't know WHY he does it, but WHEN he does it, he is usually playing a video game on his XBOX or the computer. I notice that he holds his head down and looks up, which causes him to raise his eyebrows. But when he holds his head normally, his facial muscles are all relaxed.

When I was a teen I would always be raising my eyebrows in a kind of 'i'm so bad and cool, attitude type of manner, vikki pollardesque are you givin me evils! Now though my brow is constantly furrowed with irritation or worry or just deep thought. I catch myself with these faces on all the time and then I put on 'plastic face' in the hope that I won't look old before my time!

It's a natural act...part of that non-verbal communication we do.

If you don't like it, get bunch of Botox injections, you won't be able to raise or eyebrows for weeks...or months.

I do that too - didn't think much of it until this question popped up. I will now go away and think about possible reasons and let you know if I come up with anything concrete
