Of course it is normal. They are so called because while all wrinkles are caused by repeated creasing of your skin over time, the ones in the forehead are made when you frown, or are confused, or angry.

They are called worry lines because when you worry and fret
typically, you tend to wrinkle your brow. How you get them is
through the years, the face wants to conform to the position in
which it spends a great deal of time;ie frown lines around the
mouth. As for getting rid of them, you might reduce the severity
to some degree with a simple skin lotion, but trust me, you're
stuck with. And by the way, as for the normalcy of having them
at 30, regardless what you hear, there is no "normal", everyone
is different.

I guess they might be called that because they are the lines that show up when we frown - usually a sign of worrying.
You can have them at any age - especially if you have sunbathed a lot in your youth - which makes the skin lose the eleasticity faster than someone who avoids the sun.
Getting rid? Well keep well hydrated helps, applying a GOOD moisturizer - NOT expensive, jsut decent, nivea cream, atrixo type stuff.
Or a face lift

RE:
Why are lines on your forehead called "Worry lines"?
why are they called this?
how exactly do you get lines on your forehead?
is it normal to have them already at age 30?
Is there a way to get rid of them?

The lines show up when you make certain facial gestures when you worry. You also get the lines when you look surprised though, so i guess we could also call them 'surprise lines' but i think most people worry more than get surprised so there.
Lines appear when you make similar facial gestures often, it also helps them appear when you have dry skin and touch your face a lot.
30 sounds normal, especially if you have dry skin.
I don't think you can get rid of them but you can diminish their appearance by always wearing cream, and by putting on facial masks and scrubs, facial exercises and massages, and there's always botox.

I agree with all the post above me.. Your DNA is saying your getting worry lines in your forehead... I knew this person who called them laugh lines.. Hey just except the way you are growing old.. Call them lines whatever you want.. Your just growing older...
To get rid of them.. Don't bother.. Grow older gracefully.. More than you know, and loves you just the way you are...

Because you usually wrinkle your forehead if worried or thinking about something that worries you...I had mine at 8 (yes I said 8)
Botox or plastic surgery is the only ways to get rid of them...

Genes have a lot to do with it. Have either of your parents heavy worry lines? Also, it's a fact that to smile causes less lines & wrinkles than to frown.

because you get them from scowling & wrinkling up your forehead. its normal to have them. i think they have a lot of creams for wrinkles. but maybe botox if they are really bad or you really hate them.
