The right medication will help you get rid of or minimize some intrusive thoughts. You have to see a therapist and work out the rest. I suggest a Cognitive behavioral therapy

i have ocd. there are different stragegies for different obsessions.
like if im obsessing on a thought i will talk on the phone, paint, dance do anything physical to keep my mind off it. then it usually goes away. if its about germs i will wash my hands or do whatever the compulsion is to get rid of the obsession.

Also read up one right brain,left brain, and their functiions.
