No I'd prefer to remain alive but the real fear is the pain of dying .
If this were done away with death would receive great popularity especially the way we deal with life . Maybe this is what we need to balance things out ;competition between the two. Think of this without a false sense of security one is constantly faced with the unknown but we get desensitized to it. Did any victim suspect 9/11? No. Because it was unknown to them ! So the more I think of it the unknown only exists in life ;death is predictably nothing !

NO!!! I am not afraid for I trusted the Lord as my saviour many years ago and I know that my eternal soul will never die but will dwell in the house of the Lord forever . I also know that one day my body will rise from the grave a glorified body just like Jesus arose from the dead and that my new body and my spirit and soul will be reunited in heaven to live eternally. So as you can see we never really die if we have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal saviour. If you have never trusted the Lord as your saviour my friend, then you are in danger of living forever in hell. If you have trusted Him as your saviour then you also have nothing to fear for there is no such thing as the unknown because God has plainly told us what to expect after we leave this world. Either Heaven or Hell. Its your choice, think about it and buy or borrow a bible ( king James Version) if you don't have one and see for yourself what God says about dying.

Nope. Even though I do not believe in many peoples view of an "afterlife," I have lived my life to its fullest, taken the time to do many good things, learned many wonderful and awful lessons, had excitement, heart break, love, and many adventures.
If there is an afterlife, and if I am reincarnated, I hope I come back with much of the knowledge I have gained during this lifetime. It would make the journey so much nicer and easier next time.

Not really. I have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ so I am quite excited about going to a place where there is no pain, death, sadness or nastiness and meeting Jesus face to face. I am afraid of the process of dying though and also of leaving my loved ones behind- especially those who arent saved, I want to see them all saved first so that I know I will see them again.
I am nervous though, it is scary to know that you have to make the journey alone, you face God alone, unfortunately we can't take anyone to hold our hand andtake the journey with us.

That's it! The big unknown. We're all afraid to some degree. Life is all we know.

I believe it is human nature to be afaid of the unknown. This might be why some people have courage when facing death. For example, Davy Crockette at the Alamo. For most people, the fear of how you die is probably a worse fear.

I am not really afraid of it. I think about the unkown and that is why i am prepairing myself for it, by having a faith instead of just ignoring christ as if he doesn't excist and then all the sudden figure out he was real when it's too late.

no, looking forward to it, actually. I am a little afraid of pain, though. But letting go will be easy for me. Like opening a door and coming in out of a storm....I will gladly go through the door!
