I have been seeing this guy for 10 months and I really honestly believe I love him, we have I guess, what you would say a long distance realationship I see him almost every week, he is only a little over an hour away from me. My issue is I don't honestly know if he loves me I mean he says he does, also he says he misses me, but then sometimes he says he really likes me and cares for me more then a friend, I don't know how to take this! Does he love me or not, I just need to be certain, I know I have some trust issues which is my own fault, but am I just being paronoid thinking that he doesn't love me when he says he cares for me more then friends?

Guys tend to find it difficult to express their mixed up feelings in language that can assure you they care. No doubt he cares about you, but the security you're looking for and the language you're looking for in his explanation of his feelings may take a while.

If I were you....I would not ignore him but play hard to get. Talk about something really exciting that you did with some friends (maybe even include a few guy friends) Watch his reaction, he may be starting to take you for granted and have to be reminded about how much he really cares or loves you. Time will tell.

if he says he loves you or cares for you more than a friend thats the same thing. i have trust issues to but i had to learn to take what men say like what they say instead of trying to read into what they mean it will fustrate you. they mean what they say they just dont say it how we want them to say it.

He is not ready for a serious committment. He may like you more than normal but he isn't "in love" with you. Give him room. Good luck. Pops

Go and see him when he's not expecting you. If he's pleasantly surprised, you have something to work with. If not, stay "just friends."
