Evolution can mean many things. The evolution idea that Christians dont believe is that humans descended from Ape or primates. They believe that God created humans just as they are. Some belive this regardless of any controversial evidence proven by the scientific community. I am sure that Christians do accept that bacteria can evolve (and are changing every second) and that change comes but some belive in the seven day creation.

first of all lets look at what evolution is. Evolution teaches that a species can be changed into another species through millions of years.I really don't see any proof of this anywhere. Not even in fossil records. I have never seen a fossil of a half fish half frog or a half bird half dog etc. dogs are dogs and frogs are frogs. I do believe in adaptation which teaches that a species can change to suit it's environment but a bird will still be a bird and a frog will still be a frog etc. I don't feel like I'm changing into another species but I do have to adapt to my surroundings once in a while. I am still however a person so I guess my answer to your Question is No I'm not evolving into another life form but I'm learning to adapt to the concept that I'm not evolving.

no, we don't remain the same. Do you mean evolution as in we evolved from from monkeys? if yes then we don't believe in evolution in that sort, because we know that God created humans in his own image. We follow a 2000 year old book because the TRUTH DOESN"T CHANGE! It's God's word and we stick to it. But it's not like we don't believe in evolving in technology and that sort of thing- we do.

I'm not sure if you are asking a question or insinuating something about Christians, but your basic understanding of evolution is wrong. Individuals don't evolve, populations do.

...Just the opposite. The older they get, the more the body breaks down, and they eventually die, which is one point against the theory of evolution - things do not become more complex, they break down and become more simple. I believe it is the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
...Put an apple on the table and leave it there for 6 months - it will disintegrate, not become more complex.

Creationist don't believe in evolution. Please get your facts straight.
The Catholic Church as said the evolution and the Bible are not at odds with each other. The Church accepts that evolution can be part of God's plan.

Of course they evolve every day. Ever now and then one of them shoots off into a different species.
