Me and my boyfriend have been together for a number of months now and he lives across the map on the east coast (no internet love) while I stay here in the west coast. He keeps telling me that we are going to bridge the gap and move together. I ask him when he says soon, then tells me he loves me all the time. It was all a matter of money issues. So just recently I lucked up and received a hefty settlement, and told him that I have the funds to help me move closer to him in which we could get our own place and now his excuse is that he doesn't want me to have to pay all the moving cost by mself. What should I do?

From not seeing each other to moving in together may be too big a step for him in one go. Perhaps it would be good to move and have a separate place near him.

However, that's the favorable theory. Other possibilities go downhill from there. Don't sacrifice a lot to move to to be with this guy.
