My boyfriend and I have been going out for about a month, and the Sadie Hawkins dance is coming up soon. My mom won't let me go until she meets him, and that's not a problem. But I don't know where she should meet him at. He's great, not a bad boy, and very sweet, but I just don't know how they should meet.
Additional Info:
We don't live in a big town -- more of a country town.
I'm not too big on him coming to my house quite yet. My family is a little bit nutts.
He can't drive, we're only 15.

Unfortunately, your home is the best place for him to meet your mother.
Humble yourself by having him come to your home. Clean the house and tell your mom he is coming to dinner.
So what!, your family is nuts. I'll bet his family is nuts too.
All kids your age feel that way about thier parents. Get over it! If you really want to go to the dance with him, you'll invite him over to meet your mom.
Your mom will not say anything to embarass you at all )dads only do that)
I understand how you feel about having him come to your house, but it's going to happen sooner or later.
He will not decide that he dosen't like you because of your (nutty) family. It's you he likes not your mom. And you never know, he may come to really like your mom.

Well can you have them meet at a Mcdonalds or Bruger King or another fast food joint or diner type setting ...That way people are around and your Mom can't go nuts...Or maybe in a park or somewhere like a Mall and have them meet in the food court.

Is there a place you both like to meet? Mabey if both of you have a hang out, you could bring your mom there to meet him. Good luck.

go have dinner or lunch at a restaurant with him. the family with you and ur boyfriend will hang out there better and it's a public place that's very comfortable. it facilitates all situations so go for it and everything will be fine.

why not try in a restaurant..why not in your house anyways..??
your parents can talk and serve him you know..they'll just ask him some questions..that's all..to know if your really safe for that guy..
