I think that your way is the way to go. If you don't have sex, then the guy you are with is with you for you, and you only. You can be intimate by doing things together and having great conversations and going to romantic places like parks and watching the sunsets together and stuff like that. Use romance as your replacement for sex. It doesn't have to be all about sex.

To answer your question straight, he is not worth if he can not wait for you until you guys get married. Ask him if sex is more important for him or you?
I am NOT encouraging anyone to have sex before marriage but I am just curious, however, how celibate people like you can find out if he or she is sexually compatible if you don't experience before the marriage? What if a good looking person that you are falling for so long is a lousy lover in bed that you only find out after you get married. Then what??

Of course it is. Girls used to do it ALL time. Just say "no" and stick to it. Its your body and you don't have to let ANYBODY touch it or enter it. You won't be sorry to remain celibate. When I was a teenager, 80 % of the girls were celibate and 20% weren't. Now 20% are celibate and 80% aren't.
Good luck. Pops
By the way, when the "boys" got married, back then, they looked for the virgins.

Although I can not relate to your question, I believe that you can be intimate without having sexual relations. It's a different type of intimacy that you and your boyfriend both need to agree. If the guy is worth it he'll wait. Otherwise it wasn't meant to be. Hold true to your values and don't let anyone sway you.

Intimacy has nothing to do with sex. My husband and I share many intimate moments that involve just being together.
Laying in bed cuddling, massage, a knowing look across the table etc... Good for you for waiting until marriage... That is a real rarity these days.

~Not about taking care of his needs, but you have to live with yourself.
~I wish I could tell you how sorry you will be
when you do things because other people want

Yes, it is possible to be celibate until marriage. In the meantime he should be allowed to bang every hooker anally to make up for your tight ***. I wonder if he tells his friends that you keep his nuts in your backpocket far away from any anal.
