I have yellow toenails.
Why?

i had blue toenail polish on for a LONG TIME so I think that might be it.
how long should i wait until my nails turn back to WHITE?

You won't die of yellow toenails. It's probably a bacterial infection under your toenails that is causing the discoloration. Go see a doctor or a podiatrist. They should be able to give you some antibiotics to clear that right up!

Saw a commercial about that (A big ugly Damataphyte (Fungus) was under this guy's toenail. The medicine (treatment) was called Lamisil.

Probably represents fungal infection (with taenia rubrum.) See your GP and he will take nail samples and check.
If this is the case treatment takes the form of nail lacquers or pills, but is very prolonged.

if you wear a lot of red, dark pink or puple colored nail polishes on your toe nails it could make them appear yellow
otherwise you could have fungus
and there are medications for that
maybe see your doctor about it
i dont think its a fatal situation though

could be a few things needing to bleach your toe nails are could be a infection but i would bleach them back to white first before getting worried.

It is a bacteria infection. It also has something to do with fungus. There is a medicine i just forgot what the medicine was called...
