I don't think it is more important but is harder to be in a relationship without trust. You can fall in love with someone and then lose trust for them but still love that person.

Relationships have to have trust in them before they have love, but they are both important. Sometimes love isn't necessary though, some people are happy to be with someone that they trust. Love can come later.

Trust is very important. I think that if there is NO trust then there is NO true love. There has to be trust and many other things as well.

No it is equal, to love someone, you must trust them otherwise your relationship is based on lies and will eventually destroy you and your confidence. I used to be the same as you until i was taught to trust until proven otherwise and have now been in a totally loving relationship for 5 years and trust is everything to us x

Trust is the ultimate because it covers SO MANY different aspects of a relationship - emotional trust, financial trust, sexual trust, physical trust.

"Love" is a rather bland concept - for one person it might mean sex, and for another it might mean trust. It might mean companionship and communication to another.

So - stick with trust.
