I've said a few "bad words" in my time but it's not a part of my vocabulary. I really don't like to be around people who curse.
They sound immature and vulgar.

I don't enjoy being in the company of potty mouths. But I do curse; more often than I care to admit.
In fact, I just cursed just a minute ago when this freakin' site wouldn't let me save my rating.
*Pardon my 'French.'

No, not anymore. When I was out of the church I cursed like a sailor, but since I became a born-again Christian my mouth is clean. I'll say once in a while, crap, but that's as far as it goes. And I NEVER use the Lord's name in vain in any way. I do not enjoy being around people who don't seem to know how to communicate with out using the f--- word with every other word that comes out of their mouth or any other unnecessary expletive. It shows ignorance. jmho

There is a time and place for it. It does get a little annoying when someone says it every other word. But sometimes cursing can be a big stress reliever or it can enhance conversation by giving a phrase or story more emphasis.
Potty Mouths = annoying yes.

I would like to say that I never curse. That would be a lie. Under stress I've been known to use a few expletives. However; I try to remember the old saying; Profanity is for the feeble minded. Most people, normal people are guilty of swearing from time to time. Sometimes you just can't help yourself. What bothers me is the generation who now go about using the "f" word like it's a normal part of every sentence.

I occasionally swear, yes, but only when something really painful and/or bad happens, like accidentally leaning against the oven door (call me a klutz... this has happened to me three times in the past year) or dropping an expensive breakable object (especially if it smashes into zillions of tiny pieces).
And no, I don't particuarly like being around people who curse a lot, but it's not a big deal. If they can ignore my absent-mindedness, I can ignore their swearing.

Yes, I unashamedly use swear words. Though personally I can't say I'd want to be around compulsive swearers OR language prudes. They can both be annoying in their own right.
I think swearing can be good if it's done in a well-placed, witty way. I can listen to George Carlin or Redd Foxx any day, but not an interview with Eminem.

Usually only at home. I personally don't care at all, but I know others do, so I rarely curse in public. However when I'm at home I'll say f-- or sh-- all the time when something doesn't go exactly right. I don't care when others curse around me either, rarely notice it. It's just words.

I used to curse like crazy. Then I became involved with my boyfriend, who only says, "Oh, boy," "Rats" and "Shoot." If it's bad, it's "Oh, boy" and on down the line. I made it a new year's resolution a couple of years ago not to and I cut down considerably. What really surprised me is when I saw my mother (with whom I never curse) and I heard her swearing up and down.
I know I can control it, so I know it's not necessary. Now if I could just get "like" and "you know" out of my daily language... That would really be something.

I do curse, but I try to respect the feelings of the people around me. I don't curse in front my family and some friends and coworkers.
