looking for any info on rieable toy trains

Miniature railways that you can ride on come in various sizes, one of the most popular being 5 inch gauge which works out at 1:12 scale for a model of a standard gauge loco. Typically they are driven from a wagon designed for the driver to sit on and also carry fuel, water, tools etc.

Steam locos which work exactly like the prototype are available, either ready-built or drawings and parts to build your own, also diesel and battery-electric locos, track, signals etc. However they are not toys, but real trains albeit in miniature. I am not sure if this is what you are after but if it is, check the web site below.

They cost large amounts of money and need plenty of space, and the easiest and cheapest way to get access to them is to join a model engineering club.
